MOPS (Mothers of preschoolers) is a Christian, non-profit organization that encourages and equips moms of young children to realize their potential as mothers, women and leaders, in relationship with Jesus, and in partnership with the local church.
MOPS Groups are gatherings of moms coming together for community, conversation and friendship. The goal of MOPS is to meet each mom where she is and walk beside her as she embarks upon the crazy and beautiful journey we call motherhood. Here are the basic elements of every group:
- A welcoming and open environment
- Mentoring and leadership development opportunities
- Time for creative activities
- Valuable, Christ-centered, teachings and lessons
- And, perhaps best of all, … childcare!
MOPS Kids is designed specifically to provide a safe and stimulating environment for each child and to introduce them to the love of God through Bible stories, music and creative activities.
Community of Joy MOPS meets two Fridays a month from 9:30 to 11:30 am.
