Patrick and Penny Thomas will be sharing how they started Retained Lives three years ago when God put Cambodia on their hearts and, specifically, the growing problem of human trafficking. Retained Lives provides sustainable jobs for impoverished women in Cambodia. Lives have been changed as a number of women have been taught how to make quilts and thereby provide for their families. Health is being restored with regular meals provided by a local Cambodian church, their children are able to attend school, and the good news of Jesus Christ is being spread to the surrounding communities.
Please join us as we gather with other congregations to hear more about this amazing ministry. We will take up a free-will offering to support Retained Lives, pray together for Cambodia, and see some of the beautiful quilts that have been made (and are available for purchase). Dessert will be served.
